Raspberry - Malling Jewel. A firm favourite that is a reliable mid season cropper with excellent flavour. Produces medium to large sized fruit and has easily managed compact growth, tolerant to virus infection. Mulching around the base will produce larger crops and as with all summer fruiting varieties cut the stems back to ground level after picking the fruit. The Royal Horticultural Society have given it their prestigious Award of Garden Merit. Plant 18in (45cm) apart in rows 6ft (2m) apart. Sold here in quantity of 10.
