A Three Seater Garden Bench with Pop up table. This style of garden bench have been becoming more and more popular over the years. They can be used as either a normal 3 seater bench or a 2 seater companion bench with table. A excellent alternative to the very popular companion bench style. Manufactured from Malaysian Meranti hardwood, locally used in construction like Pine in the UK. Naturally the colour can vary widely from pale yellow to dark red so to give an even colour the wood is treated to a Chestnut colouring. The grain is similar to Mahogany and machines to an excellent finish.

Wood Properties. Sugar gum has yellow-brown heartwood that becomes a light ginger brown when polished. Its fine and uniform texture with interlocked grain, creates a well featured sawn timber. The wood is very hard and highly durable. This timber is very suitable for garden furniture and inits natural state has an apperance of teak but has a greater density.

Our UK supplier has been using the same small workshops for many years and work very closely with them, visiting them at least once a year. They value our business and only use top grade wood & craftsmen.
The Teak used is Grade A+ teak, which is kiln dried to < 15% moisture. Most teak furniture is not kiln dried and leaves the teak at an unstable 20 % + which leads to a much shorter life.
