Child friendly?Somewhat – they really enjoy the costumed guides, ring to find out when they are on duty.
Description The ruined façade of the Starkie wing, covered in clematis, honeysuckle and roses, provides a dramatic backdrop to the garden which contains a range of wild flowers, perennials, lavenders and a fragrant herb garden.  The orchard has species of apple trees native to Yorkshire only.
