| Description |
The quarry provided the stone for the hall and the village and now it gives a micro-climate that shelters a collection of rare plants from ferns to palms in the grade one listed gardens. Belsay is famous for its rhododendrons which can be found throughout the thirty acres of formal and informal gardens. |
