| Description |
Eight acres of formal gardens around the house have different areas, each with a distinctive character, beyond them is the Grove, a well established arboretum and woodland garden. In the spring there are excellent displays of bulbs and early rhododendrons and magnolias and in the summer the walled garden and sun-dial garden harmonise with the magnificent herbaceous border and Arbour walk. Many of the plants grown at Arley are available from the specialist on-site nursery. |
