Cranberry - Pilgrim. A low growing evergreen, Pilgrim produces dark red berries and is ideal to grow in a container or cascading from a hanging basket. An increasingly popular fruit and renowned for its medicinal properties its tart like flavour makes it ideal for culinary purposes especially for traditional cranberry sauce. Plant 3ft (1m) apart or in 15in (38cm) containers with ericaceous compost.
